Keep God First, Enjoy Your Life.

If we all keep God in first place in our lives and He will take us places we have never been. He will lift us up and make us a shining example. Placing God first means living our lives through the prism of His word – Psalm 119: 105. Keeping Him first will please Him exceedingly; and when that happens, He makes even our critics be at peace with us. Proverbs 16: 7. You shall excel IJN. Shalom.

Blessings for the month of October.

In that name that is above every other name, I decree – this month you will be blessed in the city, you will be blessed in the field. Lines will fall for you in pleasant places. Goodness and mercy will partner with you. While the uninitiated struggles, all your endeavours shall experience a lifting IJN. You shall excel. Shalom.

Dear Friends, you were created to excel – in every area of your life. Starting today, we would encourage ourselves to pray for our means of livelihood. Please pray fervently for the Lord says there shall be deliverance and manifestation. Shalom.

FOCUS, A Key To Your Goal.

Focus is the grace to ignore distractions. Phil. 2: 15. If you will not allow your destiny compromised, plead for grace to be focused. Why? Distractions will always come. 1 Pet. 5: 8. PRAYER POINT: “Father, I plead the power in your name against every destiny changing distractions in my life.” You shall excel IJN. Shalom. Please retweet.

As a child of God, nothing is as good as WALKING the talk. Now, that is commitment. Many have perfected the art of knowing & talking, but need grace for walking what they profess. Receive that grace IJN. You shall excel. Shalom.

Text: “The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.” – Zephaniah 1:14

I taught Sunday school class last Sunday on the topic of those who will be left behind that is those who will not make heaven. After service, one of my friends sent me a black berry message to the effect that I was ‘very passionate about the lesson’. I promptly replied, ‘we all should be, because He can return before you finish reading this!’

The return of the LORD is the long-awaited moment when everything would be put right in the world. On “the day of the Lord” God would finally destroy Israel’s enemies. At last justice would come. After years of oppression, Israel would watch their enemies melt before God’s anger. (Remember that as a Believer, you are now part of the spiritual Israel).

Zephaniah proclaims that the day of the Lord is “near and coming quickly.” The prophet piled up pictures of distress and trouble to illustrate the terror of this day. When God released his anger, darkness and chaos would overtake the created world. But Judah would also hear God’s verdict on their sin. Judah believed they were immune to judgment, but the Lord said they too deserved to be punished.

The Bible tells us that another day of the Lord is yet to come. Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead—and that includes you and me. On that day, our silver or gold will be unable to save us. All of our accomplishments and wealth will count for nothing. But the gospel assures us that Jesus has taken God’s judgment for our sin upon himself. If we believe in him, the day of the Lord will be a day to share in God’s victory over sin and darkness.

Will you be ready when the LORD shall return? If you receive this and you are not born-again, please repeat this prayer: LORD JESUS, I CONFESS THAT I HAVE BEEN A SINNER. I REPENT OF ALL MY SINS. I ACCEPT YOU AS MY LORD AND SAVIOUR. COME INTO MY HEART TODAY AND ABIDE WITH ME. THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY SOUL. If you did pray that prayer, CONGRATULATIONS you are born-again and heaven bound. Glory to God. Please look for a Bible-believing church close to you to begin to walk out your salvation!

If you are already born-again, please forward or retweet this message to as many as possible. God bless you.

Text:” That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.” – 1 Pet. 4:2

If you are born into Christianity with the usual support group of friends and family you might not appreciate what I am about to say. For any Muslim or pagan to come to our faith, that decision to follow Jesus Christ may result in being disowned by family, threats to or from the person’s spouse, and fear of physical harm. Many faint and backslide, returning to darkness, a few soldiers on, because “the end of all things is near,” they resolve to live “for the will of God.” Yet we must all persevere because the end can come at any time. Look around you, Scripture is literally being fulfilled every day!

Faith can face painful challenges. But because the Lord “set eternity in the human heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11), Peter articulates reasons for faithful living:

• God’s Son: Armed with Christ’s attitude, believers focus on eternal hope rather than temporary pain.
• God’s deliverance: Christians celebrate freedom from debilitating desires and the self-abuse of disobedience to God’s will.
• God’s judgment: Content that the Lord makes “everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11), God’s children trust Him who will judge without fear or favour.
• God’s encouragement: Encouraged by the Lord’s faithfulness, Christians serve to encourage fellow believers in their struggles.
• God’s glory: Rejoicing in salvation, believers accept suffering as the birthing room for God’s glory to be fully revealed.

As Christians we will continue to encounter pressure to disobey God. Yet we must refuse to be blinded by circumstances and to live only for the moment. Instead, we should strive to live for Christ and his return! HEAVEN IS ONLY FOR A FEW. Be wise my friends. Shalom.

Prayer: “Lord, when we are weary of attacks on our faith, strengthen us with eternal vision, encourage us with grace, and surround us with love.” Amen.
